If you have not seen a Wicked Wayz flyer floating around Kansas City, this article is for you.
Wicked Wayz music is popular with the metal
fans and hip hop fans. Band members are
Devil Boy and Creepy Face that have been
friends about 13 years. Since 1992 Creepy Face
has been rapping in the underground scene.
Wicked Wayz was formed by two artists that
wanted to impact Kansas City with their
theatrical black light show and music talent.
Wicked Wayz music is very difficult to label, with a rock mix and rap vocals. The ICP and Juggalo movement of “Whoop Whoop” echoes in the building the moment Wicked Wayz enters the house. Devil Boy and Creepy Face being fans of clowns, Kiss and Alice Cooper, wanting to be different then everyone else, they use clear neon paint mixed with black light effects, the theatrical show begins displaying the reason they are called Creepy Face and Devil Boy.
Out of all shows I have been to Wicked Wayz is one of the few bands that continuously bring fans. Creepy Face and Devil Boy explain that promoting would be a lot harder if there wasn’t another artist putting this type of mix together. They believe the key to bring fans is posting flyers in Kansas City and having dedicated family.
Fan Question for Wicked Wayz “What was your most embarrassing moment on stage?”
Creepy Face biggest fear has always been falling off stage. Creepy face's pants falling to his ankles during a performance, rated him the number one story of embarrassing moments.
