They may not call him the streak in Hell’s Kitchen but throw in a dare and a hot tub, whoop.  That scene was as real as it gets on Hell’s Kitchen, the only editing that had to be done was how much blurriness to add it.  The fish station was boiling Chef Ramsay’s temper last week putting an end to the hot shots in the hot tub.

Ed Battaglia is a high school teacher that also teaches special education.  He always wanted to be on the show and he made it on the second audition.  He was one of the few contestants that left the show satisfied with his outcome and performance.  Ed had no regrets on the show.  He believed that cooking on Chef Ramsay’s show Hell’s Kitchen was proof enough to show the world that he can cook.  He was proud when chef Ramsay complimented his dishes and he was honor when he received the black jacket.

Contestant: Ed Battaglia
The lucky students of Garfield Park Academy should be proud to learn from a teacher like Ed Battaglia.  Not only would Ed have the ability to provide good cooking skills but tips when faced with critics.  Sometimes good cooking skills can not come from a book just a good teacher.  It is always heart warming to hear a teacher being proud of the special needs students.  Not everyone realizes that their gifts could create a magical dish.

Ed not only teaches cooking in high school, he is also a coach.  During his down time, he loves to fish off of the Jersey shore lines.  Ed was more laid back and just wanted to continue teaching.  He hopes to work on creating a cook book in the near future.  Who knows, may six months down the road Ed along with his students will create a cook book designed to teach teenagers how to cook.  Wouldn’t that be a mothers dream to see their teenager in the kitchen cooking dinner.

Ed Battaglia, the best of luck to you in your teaching career and every parent should be proud to have their student in your class.
